I've been pleased with a lot of recent movies. I really liked Iron Man, and Dark Knight was amazing. In non-comicbookdom, I enjoyed Wall-E quite a bit.
So I was looking down the line for the rest of the movies coming out this year. Here are the ones I'm interested in, and will try to catch in theatres:

I had an amazing time this weekend, and I'm bummed that it's gonna be three months until our next trek up north.
The short version: I had a great time. Madrigal continues to deliver on the fun and awesome.

Forbidden Kingdom has actually been on my radar for a while, but now that it is three weeks away, I'm geeking out about it a little more.
You can't pass up two legendary martial arts superstars in one flick. They just need to work in Tony Jaa and they could have a trifecta.

You might think I haven't updated in a while because I was lazy. You might think it wass because I've been insanely busy and didn't have spare time.
Well I haven't been particularly busy, and I've actually been pretty productive. I guess the catch was I've also been profoundly un-interesting.
Notable occurences: (in order of occurence)
1) My computer blew up.
2) I went to Madrigal and had a good time.
3) I ran in to maddocks and angelpoe last night. (HI!)
Other than those noteables, everything has been standard fare. Oh, I finished season five of 24, and I bought season six, so I still have some catching up to do. It still has the over the top action that I want though, so I'm happy.
If you've seen 24, I encourage you to seek out the "Jack Bauer Facts" that are circling our fine innernets. There are too many sites to single one out, but I think my personal favorite fact is, "If everyone on 24 did what Jack said the first time, the show would be called 12."
I'll have an update in a few days talking about Madrigal, and I'll probably expound on my computer woes, you know, if I can find a computer to use. |

Yes, and I liked it.
How are you and Cindy doing? When are you all going to come to Alexandria to hang out?
Cindy and I are doing great. She's on summer break now, which makes it hard to motivate to go to work when she gets to sleep in. Also our house is hot as crap as our new air conditioning unit isn't functioning as well as it should.

How's work going?
Work is going just fine. I'm getting ready for an absolute bitch of a week next week, involving a certification (a big deal) and a functional audit (a pain in the ass and a big deal). I have my cot and PJs ready.
What books are you reading right now?
Right now I'm reading Eldest by Christopher Paolini.
Next up is the new Harry Potter book. After that, I'm going to try and find something not classified in the "Young Adult" category.
I'm also reading a couple of different Graphic Novels.
Any new bands you've recently discovered?
There are two:
1) Attikas (Plug for Claudia! :) )
2) Neskimos They do heavy metal versions of old nintendo game themes! Hilarious!
